Dornbirn, 8th November 2024 – The e.battery systems AG, e.bs AG for short, has successfully completed its Series A financing round, which began in 2023, with a total volume of 11 million euros. The investment was subscribed by both existing shareholders and new investors. The two lead investors, Udo Filzmaier and Heinz Senger-Weiss, contributed a significant portion of the total volume.

In addition, the acquisition of kumkeo GmbH has been successfully completed. kumkeo GmbH will now become e.bs kumkeo GmbH. By integrating kumkeo GmbH under the umbrella of e.bs AG, a powerful, internationally positioned company is created, which will sustainably strengthen its market position.

With the acquisition, the combined company now has locations in Hamburg (Germany), Kiel (Germany), and Dornbirn (Austria). Production is handled by a partner facility in Niš (Serbia). Altogether, the newly integrated company employs 120 people and generates a consolidated annual revenue of 25 million euros.
