
The E.NHANCE system is integrated directly into the nacelle of the wind turbine and provides the necessary energy in the event of a power failure. It ensures the operation of essential functions such as safety and aviation lighting, wind measurement, as well as pitch and yaw control, to keep the turbine safe and reliable.
A power outage endangers wind turbines, as they cannot be brought into a safe position during severe weather. In such cases, E.NHANCE reliably provides sufficient energy to protect the turbine and ensure safe operation.
Starting from 4 modules per system, E.NHANCE can be individually adapted to energy requirements. This ensures flexibility and efficiency, from smaller to larger turbines.
The batteries have a lifespan of up to 12 years and require only minimal replacement or maintenance. Thanks to the intelligent system that prevents continuous charging and discharging, the supply remains uninterrupted. Small units can be easily replaced and shipped, further reducing operating costs.
Thanks to LiFePO4 technology, E.NHANCE offers high thermal stability and safety, reducing the need for expensive fire protection systems. This lowers both initial and operating costs.
