The history of e.battery systems.
The story of e.battery systems and AKKU Mäser is one of constant development and differentiation, and of trailblazing battery systems and electromobility solutions. The dawn of e.battery systems signaled AKKU Mäser entering a whole new level of innovation, researching the future with highly innovative electromobility solutions, brand new battery systems and second-life applications. It is about nothing less than achieving groundbreaking advances in future-proof battery technology.

e.battery systems: A Startup with History

In 2020, AKKU Mäser became the biggest battery manufacturer in Austria, but it was time for something new. With e.battery systems, the producer established a lithium specialty and focussed efforts on a future-oriented development for electromobility.

Three Years in Brief:

The year 2017 at AKKU MÄSER was all about the development of a new battery system for deployment in autonomous swarm robots, familiar to many from Amazon fulfillment centers. The following year, the team presented a world first: the very first battery system which enables vehicle diagnosis from implementation up to the next assembly line. This was followed up swiftly in 2019 by the development of a modular intelligent battery system for up to 30 cells in series, including software and user interface. Soon afterwards in 2020, e.battery systems brought various 48 V standard batteries (for AGV, scooters, cars, trucks, and more) onto the market, as well as dispatching its first e-taxi battery to India. A firm step forward in electromobility development had been made. Since then, we have conquered the market again with the introduction of a brand new cooling technology: with its patented cooling system and unbeatable design, the CooLi Battery Pack is a true game changer. These short intensive years represent the rapid developments in electromobility, and the foundations on which e.battery systems was founded. Since 2020, the R&D team have focussed on industrial energy storage systems of 35 kWh to 1MW. In 2021, the first hand-mixer and motorbike batteries entered mass production.
